About our Cabling & Peripheral Recycling Services
We offer business and organizations free pickup and recycling for excess cables and surplus electronic pheripheral equipment. Regardless if used, new, or simply taking up storage space, CAS will responsibly recycle or find circular outcomes for unwanted cables and peripherals that supports environmental compliance, landfill diversion, and sustainability initiatives at no cost to your organization.
Cables, Peripherals & Hardware we Pickup
- Cabling, Cords & Power Accessories: We pickup surplus, used, and new-in-box cabling and power accessories. This includes loose cords, bulk lots, mixed bins, and complete cable bundles.
- Electronic Peripherals We accept surplus, used, and new-in-box electronic peripherals. Whether you have a few items or palletized bulk, we accept mixed loads and will sort and process everything through approved downstream recycling and reuse channels at no cost.
- IT Room & Infrastructure Hardware: We also pickup hardware that supports IT rooms including: server racks, rack rails, shelving, patch panels, cable management, ladder racks, wall-mount brackets, enclosures, lockboxes, PDUs and rack power strips, UPS units, KVM trays/console drawers, blanking panels, faceplates, mounting hardware, and other network-room or server-room infrastructure. Regardless of condition, we pick it up at no charge.
Our Surplus Cabling, Peripherals & IT Infrastructure Process
- On-site collection: staged pickup, efficient removal, and optional packing, palletization or de-installation services as an add-on scope
- Sorting & consolidation: cabling, peripherals, and infrastructure hardware separated by material type and reuse potential
- Secure handling: organized loading and transport to reduce loss, damage, and site disruption
- Reuse & material recovery: salvage and recovery of reusable components and recyclable materials where feasible
- Final disposition reporting: documentation showing downstream processing and outcomes
Sustainability Reporting and ESG Support
Surplus cabling, electronic peripherals, and IT infrastructure hardware sustainable impact is often overlooked, but they can actually play a major role in improving circular outcomes. When supporting hardware and “missing pieces” are recovered and kept with core equipment, the overall load becomes far more complete, usable, and easier to recirculate. That means less partial systems get discarded, and more assets can be recirculated for reuse instead of treated as waste or automatic recyclable material.
- Pickup-level reporting that includes peripherals, cabling, and infrastructure as value-add materials that improve reuse readiness
- Documentation that supports ESG and sustainability initiatives by increasing complete-system recovery and reducing needless disposal of small accessories
- Net Weight tracking by category in final disposition reporting, separated by waste treatment (recycling & materials recovery) vs circular (reuse) outcomes

FAQ
Do you accept surplus cabling and cords with pickup?
Yes. We accept surplus cabling, cords, chargers, and power supplies—used or new—with pickup. Mixed bins and bulk lots are fine, and we’ll confirm staging and handling needs during the assessment to keep pickup day smooth.
Do you take electronic peripherals like scanners, docks, and POS accessories?
Yes. We accept a wide range of electronic peripherals—including barcode scanners, receipt/label printers, docks, hubs, keyboards, mice, headsets, and other accessories commonly found in retail, manufacturing, and education environments.
Do you pick up IT room and network infrastructure hardware too?
Yes. We accept server room and network room infrastructure hardware such as racks/cabinets, rails, patch panels, cable management, enclosures, PDUs, UPS units, rack accessories, and mounting hardware. If it supports the IT environment, we can usually take it.
Why do cabling and small peripherals matter for sustainability?
Because they’re often the “missing pieces” that determine whether equipment can be reused. Keeping cables, peripherals, and supporting hardware together improves complete-system recovery, increases the likelihood of recirculation, and reduces the volume of small items that are easy to justify throwing away.
Do you offer on-site de-installation before pickup?
Yes. On-site de-installation and palletization is available as an add-on scope for larger cleanouts or bulk loads. We can help consolidate, label, and stage materials to streamline removal, reduce disruption, and improve accountability before transport. See De-Installation Services.
