Core Asset Solutions is an Ohio-based IT asset retirement and electronics disposition company serving organizations that manage retired technology, electronic waste, and related documentation requirements. The Company works with corporations, public entities, municipalities, agencies, and budget-conscious organizations that need retired equipment removed from operation and directed through a responsible disposition process. Its work supports documented IT asset retirement, secure media handling, reuse evaluation, electronics recycling, and sustainability reporting. Founded by Will and Andrew Gibson and based in the Greater Cincinnati region, Core Asset Solutions was built around a practical operating model for organizations that need retired assets cleared, processed, and recorded without the cost, delay, and administrative burden often associated with traditional ITAD programs. Core Asset Solutions offers pickup services throughout Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Indiana, and will receive palleted truckloads from across the nation.

Core Asset Solutions operates on a secure and sustainable disposition model that prioritizes extending a device's lifetime through secure sanitization and certified refurbishment before assuming an asset belongs in the recycling stream. Our reuse-first approach drives circular outcomes that keep material in use and out of landfills. Our process does not end at secure disposition. Core Asset Solutions simplifies asset tracking and reporting for clients during tech refreshes, converting what used to be pickup record evidence scattered across systems, impossible to standardize across multiple locations, into a streamlined, automated chain-of-custody documentation record that includes storage-to-asset matching, permanently documented all data-bearing components to their original parent asset, even after final disposition. Through our secure reuse approach, we provide a way for our clients to meet compliance and improve sustainability performance, all with documented outcomes to back it up. We give our clients peace of mind through our fully transparent workflows.

Documentation Control – once equipment leaves an organization, the physical asset is no longer enough. The record becomes the control. The company bases this operating principle behind responsible IT asset retirement. When an organization releases retired technology, it also releases physical visibility. What remains must be a record strong enough to carry the responsibility forward. Our model is built around that reality: the client should not lose control simply because the equipment has moved. The control should change form. Traditional ITAD treats documentation as evidence after the fact.
